Dash Cam App Privacy Policy

TDJ Australia Pty Ltd has built the Gator dash-cam-app for use with Gator branded devices. The use of the app is free and the app is free to download from the Apple app store or Google play store. The use of this system is provided at no cost and is intended for use as it is intended.
This policy document is used to inform users of our Mobile App about our policies relating to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal/business Information when using this service.

The App uses the YouTube API service to allow you to upload your videos to your own YouTube account.

We will not use or share your information with any 3rd party unless we are compelled to by State or Australian federal law.

Information Collection and Use

In addition to tracking data, the event that you require technical assistance we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your devices make/model and versions . The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in the case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone and computer called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. (Firebase Crashlytics).

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the Web UI and the App and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app and Web UI may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this service.

We value your trust in providing us your Information, thus we are always striving to use the best means at our disposal to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

The App uses Google account services to provide access to your YouTube account from within the app, this allows you to upload your footage from the camera to your account. The app does not store credentials/metadata for any reason. The only purpose of this access is to allow you to upload your footage to your YouTube account. If you do not need want to do this, you do not need to login to YouTube at all to use all other functions of the app.

Revoke Access to this App
To revoke any access the app has to your YouTube account, please do so via the Google Account security settings page.
By granting the app permission to post to your account, you allow it to do that. No other changes/actions are permitted and would be of great concern, please contact the developers on [email protected] at once for any issue related to this.

These Services do not address children ( Persons under the age of 18). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. In the case we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, or we have received data relating to a child, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.

As YouTube is owned by Google. If you wish to upload your footage to YouTube, you'll need to login to your Google account.

We do not access/use/store or share your data or details, as we do not have them. Google provides the authentication system and provides us the access to your YouTube account only for the purposes of uploading your footage, that is all we use it for. It is completely optional.
