The GRV92CPM supports a parking mode time-lapse feature but requires the Gator GRVHWK1 hardwire kit to use this feature. This is necessary because the Wireless Smartphone Mirror needs access to your vehicle's battery while the car is turned off. The hardwire kit facilitates this and the GRV92CPM actively manages the device's power usage based on the vehicle's battery levels, ensuring that your battery does not run flat
Free Up Your Accessory Socket
The Gator Smart mirror comes supplied with a power plug that connects to the accessory socket in the vehicle. Using the Gator GRVHWK1 USB-C Hard Wire Kit with your GRV92CPM, means the accessory socket will no longer be used to power the dash cam, freeing it up to use for other devices in the vehicle.
